REIKI
REIKI is pronounced ‘Ray-Key’
REI describes the universal boundless aspect of this energy as essence,
transcendental spirit and mysterious power.
KI is the vital life force energy which flows through all that is.
KI is Chi in Chinese, Prana in Hindu, Bioplasmic Energy by Russian
researchers, Light or Holy Spirit by Christians, Mana by the Kahuna, Breath,
Vital force in English, fluid of life by alchemists, Ku by Egyptians.
These Japanese characters when combined present the concept of
“Universal Life-Force Energy.
REIKI energy is whole; it is neither positive or negative, but rather is the
combination of these qualities.
REIKI is the science and art of activating, directing and applying natural
Universal life energy. It is applicable for all purposes, conditions and situations.
The amount and balance of KI within us, is essential for our daily health and
well being. To balance our energies and maintain positive wellness, we need
to restore the KI, which has been depleted in daily activities.

also works with a team of Angels, Ascended Masters and Reiki guides. She
came to the work about 7 years ago after the death of her husband, Jim and
felt compelled to learn a healing modality and help others. He opened doors
for her and her path is that of Healer, Shaman, Teacher. She integrates many
techniques into her healing work and is guided by each individual's needs and
belief system. She believes that the Higher Power calls each one of us to fill
ourselves with Love & Light and expand it outward.

"jump start" its own natural healing ability. Everything is made up of energy and
by "channeling" energy through the use of this modality it allows your body to heal
itself. Many other things go into this based on your thoughts, beliefs, outside
influences etc.
What happens at a treatment? You lie on a table or sit and the practitioner uses
many "tools" (crystals, dowsing, prayer, visualization) whatever they are "guided"
to do for you & you indicate you would like. The session usually lasts 15-60 mins.
There are traditional hand placements to work with the endocrine system and
also Byosen scanning to work on energy flow. At the very least, it is very relaxing
and can become meditative. Hospitals are even recognizing this modality as
facilitating a faster recovery after illness, surgery or trauma.
