Emotional Freedom Technique

Hi to all from Angela-
Just a bit about me.....I am an Usui Ryoho Reiki Master Teacher, Jewelry Designer, and Light Worker. I am also Linda's daughter. :-) I came to my journey after experiencing unexplained phenomenon such as clairvoyent dreams as a child/adolescent. As an adult, I continue to look for new tools to assist me in my journey and to share with others. A vital part of my personality and my life's work is helping others.

At a hypnotherapy session a year or so ago I was introduced to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). I used it to relieve minor asthma attacks and the associated anxiety. Because it was introduced to me in this context, I did not realize the potential uses it had. In a conversation with my boss I found out that she too had used EFT but for some other issue. At the time I didn't think much of it and had stopped using it.

Recently, I asked for guidance from the Universe and was redirected to EFT. On his website, Gary Craig, the founder of the technique offers a free manual to get anyone started! Rather than paraphrase I will quote directly from the website to give you an idea of what EFT is:

Mo'ola'a Bay Kauai HI

Several years ago, Eric and I were privileged to travel to Hawaii. Our friend Larry picked us up (we were on a cruise) and took us all over Kauai for an un touristy view of the island. One of the places we went was Mo'ola'a Bay where we crossed a large stream and attempted to hike up a large, muddy hill. A recent insight about that trip showed me that "journey" as a parallel in my life. Attempting to ascend, I kept sliding backwards and Eric was pulling/pushing me until we finally made it up that hill to one of the most astounding views of this lifetime. Along the side of the trail were growing wild Lantana in vibrant colors. At the top, was a sacred place called a heaiau. I was granted several amazing "visions" and "visitations" during my brief meditation which I may share at a later date. This was a turning point on this path that has chosen me. Representative of my life in my attempt to seek enlightenment is that pathway which can be difficult at times yet gifts of amazing beauty are there all along if you only care to recognize them.

The Angel Gabriel

The Angel Gabriel known as the Annunciation Angel (he announced the birth of Christ to Mary) and was also the Angel who blocked the gate to Paradise once Adam and Eve were banished. He has appeared to me as a strong, tall, blonde Male Angel. Others have seen Gabriel as female. Angels are androgynous so they can appear in any form they choose. We can all access any of the Angels. They cannot help us if we do not ask because of our free will. We need to ask directly and with reverence as these are powerful beings whose work keeps the Universe functioning and who report directly to "God". It is a humbling thought that these magnificent beings are willing to work for and directly with us. Truly we are blessed with many gifts if only we choose to access them. Take a moment every day to bless all the good things in your life and when encountering any problem or difficulty, close your eyes and ask for help. Call the Angel by name specifically if you have one or more that you work with. A good way to learn what each Angel is in "charge" of is to read any of the Doreen Virtue books or use the Angel cards. Step out in faith and unlock this powerful "tool".

Full Moon

Tomorrow is the full Moon. This is a good time to "let go" of anything you wish to release from your life.

Blessings

Times are tough. Try not to get bogged down in the negative and bless things as you wish them to be. For example bless world peace, world enlightenment or something as simple as thanks for your family, friends, job etc. Bless that which you want to manifest in your life no matter how small. Blessing works.. it sends out a positive vibration to the Universe which in turn activates the creative power. I send out my blessings to all workers of light, together we are creating a new reality.

Death

Eric & I traveled recently to NJ to attend a funeral and that had me thinking about death & what happens beyond. We all have our own fears/thoughts/beliefs/hopes on this subject. Having experienced the loss of a husband, parent, best friend and many other relatives, friends & acquaintances is one of the things precipitating my search for answers and led me to this path. My feeling is that most people who come to this work have experienced loss or pain and have the need to reach out to others in order to help all concerned (including themselves) to come to some understanding of Life and ultimately Death. Fear of death is based on fear of the unknown. For thousands of years, Man has searched for answers. Have we found any yet? That answer may be different for each individual. I would like to hear from you with your thoughts on this subject. What is true for me came about after many years of contemplation, searching and finally the "Life Between Lives" regression which you can read in the article on my website. Truth for each person is based on their perception & knowledge.

Reiki Share

I am hosting a Reiki share on Friday, August 1st at 7 p.m., I have two tables and if anyone would like to bring a small "snack" to share that would be nice. We will have water/iced tea/soda. The Beginning

Welcome to all of you to our new blog! We (Linda, Eric & Angela) hope to share thoughts, ideas, suggestions, information and answer any questions you may have. We will also keep you posted on upcoming events, classes and Reiki shares.

Recently, Eric and I traveled to AL, GA, TN & MS. As some of you may know, Angela and I have some of our originally designed and handmade jewelry at a shop called "The Raised Brow" which features fine antiques, paintings, furniture and glassware. The shop is located at the Log Cabin Village in Mentone, AL. So, on Sunday, June 22nd Steve (the owner) featured my work at a sort of "meet the artist" type of event. Thanks to all who stopped by! The Log Cabin Village has its own website if any of you would like to check it out. Mentone featured natural springs similar to Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa and was used by Native Americans for healing purposes. Subsequently, settlers and so forth discovered it too. Unfortunately, the springs are inaccessible these days however, this area is a destination for Mountain chapel weddings, the Village, state parks, lakes, forests etc. If you ever have an opportunity to visit don't forget to stop by Cones of Mentone, which is owned and operated by my brother, the famous icreamologist Matt Woodruff.
