Grounding

In today's society many of us feel stress and scattered in our energy. I want to give you a simple technique that I teach all of my classes to use that allows you to ground yourself and anchor your energy to the earth. I find this helps me with concentration and focus. You can do it in the shower each morning or just about anyplace. (Pls don't do it while driving!) smile.. if you can go outside because then you will make a deeper connection to nature and the earth.

The technique is simple: Close your eyes, breathe normally, quiet your mind and redirect your thoughts to what you are doing if need be. As you take each breath feel yourself releasing any negativity or stress... visualize a tree, see the roots growing deeply into the earth, stretching towards the center. The trunk is firm and strong and you see the branches reaching heavenward towards the light.. energy flows from the Universe intothe leaves then the branches, down the trunk into the roots and from there into the earth. Usually you only need to do this for a couple of minutes or however long it takes you to feel more grounded and centered.

Some people have difficulty visualizing. To help yourself, find a picture of a tree that attracts you, cut it out, print it out or however you can have the image to hold in front of you. Just look at the image until you know that you are quite familiar with it. Then close your eyes and try to "picture" it in your mind's eye. Keep practicing.. you will be able to see, think or know the visualization of that tree.

Try this each day and you will find yourself becoming less anxious and scattered. It is a good technique to use for a variety of life issues only limited by your imagination!

Working Together in Love & Acceptance

This is for all of you who consider yourselves "Light Workers". Having been called to this path, learning about your gifts and putting those in service, we sometimes seem to lose sight of why we are doing this. In my experiences, I meet many people who feel called to this work. Many of them become quite competitive with others of like mind/modality and do not reach out to help each other as they should be doing. We are always able to learn something from anyone and all have gifts to share.
We can be more effective and helpful to Mother Earth and the beings on and around it if we humble ourselves and know that we are all unique and all of our gifts are valid. We are not here to judge or criticize and as we know, everyone is a work in progress! We should be reaching out, forming groups with the intention of helping to raise the vibration of anything we may encounter.
This may be part of your journey. Consider the Angels. They are directed by the Universe/God energy to be of service to us! All we have to do is ask as they cannot interfere because of our free will. So if these original Light Workers have all these qualities then so must we.
I received this "inspiration" last night in detail. We all need to become aware of and check ourselves to make sure that we are also using our loving intent towards our colleagues.
We all must work together to ensure the best possible outcome for all of us.

Update

Well its been a couple of weeks. Busy time of the year. Attended the YMCA craft fair and met some nice people however, will not be doing again next year. We will be at the Cohoes/Waterford Elks Club for Christmas shopping night which is a charitable benefit. Look for us there on November 20th from 630-930. Successful Completion

Congratulations to the successful completion and Certification for Reiki I & II to: Joe Austin, Sue Wilson, Paula Lapann & Meredith Morse!!!

This past weekend these very talented and gifted healers completed Reiki I & II giving them another set of "tools" to add to their already overflowing well of talents. I am very proud to have been allowed to be their guide and know that they will help others as they also help themselves. A chorus has sung joyfully in recognition of this. The earth and beings on and around it need the healing vibrations that Reiki brings.

The Power of Love & Blessing

Love is the most powerful energy in the Universe. We can change our lives and the lives of others through the intention of Love. Filling ourselves with loving intent and blessing contributes to a better reality. Any situation when approached from this perspective can change! Attitude is everything. The vibration or intention you send out is what you will receive consciously or subconsciously. You can love/bless anything only limited by your imagination.

One simple experiment that I have tried was in a store where a busy, harried clerk emanated with negative energy and you could see on this person's face their upset/discontent. Whatever the reason, I mentally asked that she be filled with love and blessed her. Witha big smile on my face, I initiated a greeting and began to converse with her. Her entire being perceptibly changed and we had a very pleasant encounter. Had I "accepted" her energy, the encounter could have been totally different. Many times we actually take on another person's negativity. As light workers we need to be aware, as much as possible, that our energy affects the Universe. Possibly one of the reasons you were compelled to take this path is to help raise the vibrations around you. Of course, it goes without saying we are all human and therefore, not perfect. Just do the best you can to be aware of it.

The earth and beings on and around it need our love. The earth is getting ready for ascension, as are the beings associated with it. One person can make a difference. Just try to pay attention and work on one small thing at a time. I call this my "good deeds for the day" list. Each day I set a goal of at least one to two good deeds, however small, for the day. Ultimately it will become second nature and you will find yourself also being blessed and loved in return. Miracles are possible and you will see many when you put this "Power" into effect. You may already be doing so without being aware of it. Blessings to you all for your dedication and love!
